It has been a while since we have had a box-wide social event. So how about a private tour of Pittsburgh’s very own whiskey distillery, Wigle Whiskey. If you are a lover of fine spirits, and haven’t tried Wigle, you are truly missing out. They have white whiskey, aged whiskey, gin, and now rum. All products are made local here in Pittsburgh and use local ingredients for the distilling. Heck, they even use Pittsburgh city water!!!
February is almost over, the first weekend of March is Melinda’s Roller Derby Extravaganza, and March 15th is St. Patrick’s Day weekend. So, that leaves March 22nd. We are still waiting to hear back from Wigle regarding private tours on that date, but we hope to organize a tour sometime in the evening so that we may also arrange a group dinner before or after the tour.
But, we wanted to get the word out, officially, so you can mark your calendar.
Here are some more details: The tour costs $60 per person. That money gets you the private tour, a tasting, and a complimentary bottle of white whiskey, gin, or rum. We need at least 12 people to commit in advance and can accommodate up to 30.
