CrossFit Alloy WOD for 9/17/2014 and Olympic Lifting

By September 16, 20144 Comments

As we move through September, we need to schedule another social event for our wonderful Industrial Athletics community.  Each month, we try to find ways for our community to spend time together outside of our daily workouts.  We were going to schedule a final potluck cookout on September 27th, however, with other things going on in the gym, that won’t work logistically.  Plus, we haven’t gone out to eat in a while.  So, on September 27th we are going to hit the town.  We will pick a spot by the end of this week and get out a sign up sheet for reservation purposes.  For those new to our community, this is a great time to get to know everyone you have seen in classes.  It is also a great time to meet some of our other members who come to different class times.  These outings always end up being a lot of fun.

If you have suggestions for places to eat, please let us know.

Steel: 11:?? With some persuasion by Coach Mary, she convinced me to do the WOD with double-unders for 50 reps (instead of 60). I accepted her challenge and I’m glad that I did. Although I wasn’t as fast as I thought I would be, I also wasn’t as slow. In fact, I ha a couple good strings going from time to time. Thanks Mary for the encouragement.

    Push Jerk: 125 lbs.
