Another month has come and gone. That means another CrossFit Fundamentals Class has joined our community and family. So, let’s celebrate. The party will kick off at 9:00am with a workout. We will run as many waves or heats as needed until everyone completes the workout. Then . . . we eat.
This month, we are going to do a different workout. First, its Labor Day. So, it feels only right to honor our nation with a Hero WOD. Second, CrossFit HQ recently created a Hero WOD for firefighters who lost their lives this summer battling flames in Arizona. The WOD is called Hotshots 19. We have chosen this WOD not only to honor the effort and sacrifice of those who lost their lives, but also for those who continue to fight fires in California and those who fight fires every day all over the world.

30 Squats
135 pound Power clean, 19 reps
7 Strict Pull-ups
Run 400 meters

Completed 4 rounds plus 45 reps of steel in 45:00. Glad to honor the 19 with this WOD, and very glad it’s over.
Finished the WOD as written in 43:53, just under that cap. Tough wod. Truly an honor.
