Why is fitness important to you?

Fitness is important to me because it proves to me what I am fully capable of and allows me to see continuous growth.

What motivates you on the days you don’t feel like working out?

The community motivates me when I don’t want to work out. Knowing that showing up to the gym also means hanging out with some of my favorite people is a deep motivating factor

How do you stay consistent during busy and stressful times?

I definitely struggle with consistency when I’m busy. I try to give myself grace and recognize that showing up is 50 percent of the battle.

What is your biggest obstacle you face in staying committed?

My biggest obstacle is having not having a standard work schedule. I am most motivated to come in the mornings however my schedule doesn’t always allow that and I’m trying to make an effort to come in the evenings when I can.

How do you balance fitness with the rest of the things in your life (work, family, friends, etc)?

I’ve found balance in looking at it as an investment in myself. It’s just part of self care. Also it is only an hour out of the day and thats 1/24th of my entire day.

What role does mental health play in your physical journey?

I’ve seen my mental health thrive with the consistency and overall investment in my physical wellbeing.

What role does diet and nutrition play in your fitness commitment?

Although I’m newer to the nutritional aspect of fitness, I’m learning more about what my body needs to fuel working out and my day job. I’m hoping for more growth in the sector in the coming months.

What advice would you give to someone struggling to stay committed to their fitness goals?

I would recommend to them to trust in the coaches, they would never give you any expectations outside of your capabilities. Show up for yourself first and foremost.
