“Randy” and Olympic Lifting for 6/19/2015

Don’t forget, tomorrow is a Community Day.  First, we will have a bring-a-friend day at the gym that will kick off at 11am.  It is free to everyone and a great way to introduce new people to CrossFit along with other beginners.  We will also be heading to the Round Corner Cantina around 6:30pm.

The MetCon today is a CrossFit Hero WOD.  Randy was a 27 year old LAPD and SWAT Team officer killed in the line of duty.  This WOD tests your ability to move a light/moderate load quickly and consistently.  During the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Regionals, the elite of our international CrossFit Community performed this WOD as the first WOD of the weekend.  Athletes at that level can do this unbroken.  We don’t expect any of our members to pull that off, but it is fun to think about how much effort that must take.  WOW.
