After receiving a lot of interest, we will be offering a lecture this Saturday morning on the basics of the Zone Diet. This will be open to anyone and will be offered at 9:00 am in lieu of the regular Saturday morning class. It will be at the box. Spread the word and bring friends, family, or anyone interested.
In its most basic form, the Zone Diet is a nutrition program designed to control portion sizes and the ratio of fats/carbohydrates/proteins in your diet. When everything is in harmony, your body’s hormones are in balance and you are IN THE ZONE. While this diet can be tedious in the beginning, it is perfect for people who want to learn what to eat and how much to eat. It can be used and modified to help you lose weight, gain weight, increase performance, adjust certain mactronutrients, etc.
Saturday’s lecture will explain the Zone Diet, how to use it, how to make it quick and easy, how to blend it with other diets (like Paleo), and the best ways to track your progress.
This will not be the only time this lecture will be offered, so if you can’t make it, don’t worry.
