Industrial Athletics – CrossFit
The CrossFit benchmark WOD “Barbara” comes around every September. It is an extra special WOD for us. Coach Jen, and her sister Kim, lost their mother, Barbara, to cancer in September. As a way to remember her, and those who fall victim to cancer, we’ve programmed Barbara every year since Jen and Kim lost their mother.
Members are encouraged to bring a timing device to class. This is one time we will relax our rule against using electronic devices during classes.
Barbara (Time)
Five Rounds for time:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats
*3-minute rest after each round*
Scaling:
Platinum: As written above.
Steel:
Five rounds, each for time of:
10 Pull-ups
20 Push-ups
30 Sit-ups
40 Squats
Brass:
Five rounds, each for time of:
7 Pull-ups (may be banded)
15 Push-ups (may use box)
25 Sit-ups
35 Squats
Bronze:
Five rounds, each for time of:
7 Ring Rows
15 Push-ups (may use box)
20 Sit-ups
25 Squats
