We will be closed today. If you want to get in a good workout, we will at the Firecracker 5k in Crafton, getting outside and expressing our fitness.

A few weeks ago we celebrated three Industrial Athletics couples getting married this fall! In true CrossFit fashion, we created a workout for them all. Each class did the workout in celebration of them.

September Benchmarks! We can’t believe it’s

September Benchmarks!

We can’t believe it’s September already! Here’s what we have in store this month.

Heavy movements to work on pure strength will be back squats and shoulder press.
We will text our max effort toes to bar or hanging leg raises in one attempt
Our hero workout is Amanda .45, named after Amanda Miller, a CrossFit Games athlete who lost her battle with cancer in 2010.
Our lady workout will be Barbara. We do this workout every September in honor of Coach Jen’s mom.

Happy Labor Day from the coaches of Industrial Athletics.

September is Suicide Awareness Month. On average

September is Suicide Awareness Month.

On average, there are 132 suicides a day. In 2021 there were over 1 million attempted suicides with 48,183 being successful. If you someone a loved one being quiet when they are normally talkative, not making jokes when they joke around all the time, or just acting different reach out. They could be in a dark space and simply reaching out could save their life.
