L Pullups and Ring Dips for 1/31/2017

Today is the last day to sign up for our Intramural CrossFit Open Competition.

We end this month of January with some really technical skills.  If there is one thing we learn from watching others in our CrossFit Community, reading about being a great programmers and well rounded athletes, and listing to podcasts, it is that skills (specifically gymnastics skills) are essential to good movement and long term success in functional fitness.  So, every so often we have to test our skill and possibly reset our baseline of skill mastery.  Nothing can derail a fast training session like L-sit Pullups. Approach this workout as skill practice and building stregnth in your gymnastics skills.

    • Oh man, Mark! Something about this story reminded me of Hansel and Gretel about to get shoved into the oven. Who knew coloring could be so creepy?! My example of a wacky/weird/lame lesson will always be: my 4th grade teacher, who made us learn to square dance (in New Jersey…)!
