“Paul” for 4/4/2019

April 4th is the 10 year anniversary of the death of Paul Sciullo, a Pittsburgh police officer that was killed during a domestic call along with Eric Kelly and Stephen Mayhle. Paul was standing in the doorway when someone inside ambushed him opening fire. He was killed instantly.

Prior to his death, he was a CrossFitter at CrossFit Pittsburgh. After his death, CrossFit Pittsburgh created this workout in his memory. CrossFit Mainsite picked it up and later changed the WOD. We do the original every April.

For the WOD today, we are asking athletes to mark their finish time at 9 rounds if they want a comparable benchmark score. Then, athletes are encouraged to complete a 10th round in honor of the 10 year Anniversary.
